Karen Ruble maintains her studio surrounded by nature from which draws inspiration for her abstractions. Encourged by her mother, Rose, Karen exhibits her works locally, regionally and nationally through the process of jury.

Karen studied art at Marietta College, Zanesville Art Center and many workshopss learning new techniques in a variety of watermedia including collage.

The artist has received many awards for her works including the gold and bronze medal with the Ohio Watercolor Society with whom she is a signature member. Other art organizations include the SouthEastern Ohio Watermedia
Society and Riverside Artists Gallery/co-op located at 188 Front Street Marietta, Ohio.

Karen's works are included in many public and private collections.
