Marlene L'Abbe (formerly Rudginsky) is an artist/author/poet presently residing in Marietta, Ohio. Her natural creative expression is fueled by an unending desire to deepen her understanding of life. She uses art as a tool to distil her inner experience into meaningful forms that speak to the wider world. Marlene's underlying vision is a celebration of the joy and beauty of being a woman in touch with the earth.

Marlene's artwork appears in many mediums, including acrylic painting, colored pencil, ceramics and sculpture. Her book and card deck, The Flower Speaks, published by US Games is available in bookstores throughout the world.  Current work is on view at Riverside Artists in Marietta, Ohio and her website www.waterspider.net features an original collection of tiles and prints.
