My name is Loran Elizabeth Conley. I live in Little Hocking, Ohio. I have painted and drawn since I was a child. Looking back, I think very few things are as important as a child learning how to create freely.. The act of creating anew is an endeavor that aids personal growth in all areas, and throughout an entire lifetime. Since retiring from Verizon Communication, as a field service technician, I have much time to devote to my life's passions including expressions through paintiing (both large and small,) photography, music, and writing. I am self-taught, although I have taken a few classes over the years. Capturing the essence of the natural world in a realistic style is my passion, regardless of the chosen medium. |

I am an active member of the Complein Aire Painters, centered in the Mid Ohio Valley area. I have been in a number of shows. Some of my paintings have won awards and many of my works hang in private homes in several states.
