Fall Art Classes

Glass Bead Making Class - (adults) 4 sessions Wed. and Thurs.Sept. 15 & 16 and Sept. 22 & 23, from 5:30 TO 8:30. Students will learn how to create and decorate colorful glass beads to use in earrings, necklaces or bracelets, or just for fun! This class is for beginners or those who wish to increase their skill level. Students will learn enough about this craft so that they will be able to go home and continue this craft on their own. The 4 session class will focus on setting up the torch, safety issues, materials needed, melting glass rods into beads, and creating colorful designs on the beads. All Materials will be provided, along with a list of materials, books, and resources in case students desire to continue to pursue this craft. Cost is $80 due by Sept. 1 and a supply fee of $20 due the first night of class. Instructor is Bonnie Proudfoot.

Painting for adults - Each Wed. for 4 sessions beginning Sept. 22 and ending Oct. 13 from 2:00 to 4:00. The class is titled old and new techniques using water media -  works on paper   (transparent water color and/or acrylics) Students are to bring their own materials  or call me for a materials list.  Cost is $70 and the instructor is Virginia Killian.

After School Art - Each Wed. for 4 sessions beginning Sept. 22 and ending Oct. 13 from 4:30 to 6:00. All school age children welcome. Students will experience creating a variety of 2D and 3D projects while learning art concepts. Cost is $65 and all materials are provided. Financial aid is available for those that qualify. Instructor is Virginia Killian.

Stained Glass Class - Tuesdays, September 16- October 7, 6:30PM- 8:30PM, Beginners through intermediate. Cost is $80 due before class begins and a supply fee of $15 the first night of class. Learn all the steps to make a completed project of your very own and begin a long-lived hobby. Instructor is Loran Conley.
