| Anna grew up in lovely, rural Connecticut. Her curiosity and desire to create have resulted in her exploring a wide variety of media, studying in both university and workshop settings. In the last decade her focus has been on both watermedia, for its lyrical possibilities, and on fabric arts. These include silk painting, batik, wearables and art quilting, where the emphasis may be more on bold color, pattern, texture and/or tactile qualities. | |
She is a founder of Marietta’s thriving artist cooperative gallery, Riverside Artists, in Marietta, Ohio. She also recently cofounded Innovative Art Alliance, a group of contemporary artists who show their work in state and regional galleries. In the past year her work has been shown in many venues including the Zanesville Art Center, The Delaware Art Castle and Marietta College Art Gallery. |
